The steps below outline our building process from first site meeting through to design development, and construction. Each stage is designed to keep things clear, collaborative, and transparent, so you always know what’s happening, what’s next, and how your vision is being shaped into a fully considered, build-ready home.

  • 1. Site Meeting

    First, you’ll meet with Mark and Jim, the owners and experienced builders behind Man Homes, to assess your site and discuss any key considerations. Their deep local knowledge helps them understand the unique characteristics of your land, ensuring your design is tailored to fit seamlessly within its surroundings.

  • 2. Preliminary design & quote

    Following your site meeting, Mark will hand-draft a preliminary concept tailored to your land, lifestyle, and vision.

    Once the concept design is complete, Jim will prepare an obligation-free preliminary estimate. This high-level quote includes our standard inclusions, along with any additional features or upgrades you'd like to incorporate.

  • 3. Finalising Designs and Quotes

    Once you choose to proceed, an initial design fee is charged to develop more detailed plans, incorporating architectural and engineering input where required.

    From here, we move into the finalised quote stage, where you’ll receive a comprehensive, detailed estimate covering materials, labour, and timelines. We’ll also guide you through colour selections and final design decisions to ensure everything reflects your vision.

  • 4. Contracts

    Once the final design and budget are approved, we’ll prepare a formal building contract for you to review and sign. The cost of this service is included as part of the construction agreement, ensuring everything is clearly outlined before we begin the build.

  • 5. Construction Begins

    Once all approvals, financing, and contracts are in place, we’ll kick off the build. Our loyal tradespeople, whom we've built strong relationships with over the years, ensure that your home is constructed to the highest standards. You can trust that the quality of their work aligns perfectly with our commitment to excellence, and we’ll keep you updated throughout the entire construction process.
